Chapter
2: Escape
Renan’s
POV
‘Long
story short, I’m gonna die…I’m gonna die. I should’ve thought that those people
were hooligans and their words should never be trusted. Bah! What 53 hours to
live? They just want me to suffer before I die. I’m so thirsty, so hungry!’
‘And Renan’s complaint list just keeps going on.
Still tied, gag, and blindfolded he couldn’t do
anything else although he tried to stood up before but he also found out it was
a stupid idea. Since the other time he tried to stand up, he felt something
sharp latch into his side. Though the cut wasn’t deep enough for him to bleed
excessively but this let him deduce that there was an object that was place beforehand
if he ever tried to get up.
‘Damn them all!’ he angrily thought again.
Because he was too angry to focus on hearing his surroundings he didn’t hear the moment Loue fell down on the next room.
Suddenly he heard the sound of wall moving in his left side. He also hears after it that something fell because he heard a soft ‘thud’ sound.
Renan let out a sound “Nhggga—ngah”.
‘Damn them all!’ he angrily thought again.
Because he was too angry to focus on hearing his surroundings he didn’t hear the moment Loue fell down on the next room.
Suddenly he heard the sound of wall moving in his left side. He also hears after it that something fell because he heard a soft ‘thud’ sound.
Renan let out a sound “Nhggga—ngah”.
But he heard no reply on the other side. This
cause Renan to be more depressed and lost hope about his predicament but
suddenly he heard faint footsteps slowly walking to his right. Then he suddenly
heard of a switched being flipped on.
Suddenly Renan heard a childish scream
afterwards.

Loue's
POV
The light illuminated the whole room, and Loue
was shocked to witness someone other than him in this abandoned building. So,
he couldn't helped but let out a scream.
"Aaahh!!!"
Loue screamed loudly as he saw a man tide in a
chair inside the room. After he scream his lungs out, he finally calm down. Now
that he get a close look at this man, he realized that the man was blindfolded,
gag, and tied.
'Hmmm...
Now, where did I see this scene before?' Loue deeply
thought.
~flashback~
Loue age 4, at the orphanage
"Father! Father!" Loue called out to
Reverend Robin.
"What is it, little Loue?" the
Reverend went to his side and softly replied.
"Father, what are these people
doing?" Loue point on the people inside the magazine he was carrying which
was a BDSM Mag.
"
Ah!
These people... Um they are doing a ritual to create a baby!? Yeah, a baby!
Now, Loue where did you find this magazine?" the Reverend smiled but the
corner of his mouth was twitching.
"Well, I saw Kuya Leo reading it before
inside the CR. Then when I used the toilet I saw it lying on the floor, he
must've accidentally left it in there." Loue honestly said.
"That Leo!" the Reverend's smile now
was gone and veins started popping out on his forehead.
After that, Leo was heavily scolded by Father
and I never saw Leo reading that kind of magazine again.

of flashback~
'Oh
my! Am I in the middle of that ritual?' Loue excitedly
thought. But he noticed that the man was alone tied in a chair.
'Just
now, did I interrupt the ritual?' Loue was
horrified. He quickly went to the man's side and hurriedly loosened the rope tying
the man's hands while saying apologies.
Renan's
POV
The faint footsteps went nearer to his side.
'Oh
sh*t, is he gonna end my life now? Goodbye o cruel world.'
he dramatically thought as he sensed the perpetrator’s presence nearing him at
great speed.
Renan closed his eyes and prepared himself for
a gruesome death. But he found himself dumbfounded as he felt the rope around
his hands being loosened instead- and he also heard a child's voice
apologizing.
'Now,
what the heck is going on?' he thought to
himself.
When he was finally freed from the rope, he
spit out the cloth that was gag in his mouth and quickly used both his hands to
pull down his blindfold.
"Light! Freedom!" he shouted while
stretching both his hands. Then he saw a child with a blooded kitten on his
chest.
"Ahh!!! Sh*t, a psycho!" These are the words that escaped from Renan's
mouth. He never suspected that these child would be capable of capturing a
genius like himself (A/N: LOL )
"How rude, mister! Even though I don't
know what it means but by just listening to the tone of your voice I can tell
that you’re saying something bad and I'm odended." Loue's cheeks became
bright red.
"First of all it’s ‘offended’, not ‘odended’"
Renan corrected.
"O-od-odended" Loue tried to
pronounce again.
"No not like that, its f-f-f as in
Filipino." Renan replied.
"Oh! O-off-fended. Offended." Loue
smiled as he looked at Renan.
"Meow!" the kitten slowly opened its
eyes and yawn.
That's the time Renan realized how poorly Loue
looked.
'Are
you some kind of fool, Mortez? How can you suspect an innocent child like
that?' Renan hated himself for thinking that.
He was pulled from his deep thoughts, by a warm
hand on his cheeks.
"Hoy, mister! Are you hurt?" the
child look worried.
"Um,---" Renan was startled to the
lads question.
Before
he could even utter a single word, Renan was quickly pulled up from his sitting
position by this young man's small arms.
'I wonder
where this lad's strength comes from.' Renan thought as he nonchalantly
walked out of the room that imprisoned him not long ago.
“"Thank
you, ---?"
He was lead by the child to climb upstairs, and
then they entered a room at the end of the floor.
The child helped him lay and rest on the bed first.
Then the child went back to close and lock the door.
“Mister, are you sleepy?” the child was saying
that while picking an old piece of broken wood and then placing it on the whole
on the floor.
“Eh--? How did—“Renan was amused hearing that.
“Mister’s eyes looks like it’s gonna close any
moment now.” The child smiled and then giggled.
Renan then realized that he hadn’t slept even a
wink yesterday because he was busy thinking things about the one behind this horrifying
scheme.
The child slowly came to his side and handed
him the kitten.
“Mister you can rest and take shelter for the
mean time, in-exchange for taking care of this kitty and also guarding this
room. Is that a deal?” the child handed his right hand to him.
“Okay, it’s a deal. “ Renan shakes hands with
the child to seal the deal. The
kitten then meowed and looks at the child.
“Don’t worry kitty, this Mister here is a good
man. He will take care of you. Right, Mister?” The child showed a genuine smile
at him.
“Yeah, I’ll take really good care of you.”
Renan said resigning to his fate.
DING! DING! DING!
“O-oh! I’m late!!!” The child suddenly
exclaimed and he hurriedly ran to the door and unlocked it, then quickly exited
from it.
SLAM!
Renan was amused how fast the kid was. He then
looked at the kitty and said:“Well, If I’m also late for my work I’ll also run
like h*ll.”
He burst out in
laughter when he realized himself talking to a kitten.
“I think I really
need to take a rest now.” He then placed the kitty on the bed and went to
sleep.
